
With long term experience in Compliance and Food Safety management, we realised there was an opportunity to develop an innovative product that would help store food below 8 degrees. The last control point in the food safety process is controlled manually, which leaves it open to human error and can never be controlled to the point of trust.
AVICOOL® ice blocks contain state-of-the-art colour indicator technology, so when the block is fully frozen a bespoke thermochromic dye changes colour, turning blue. This means that it is easy to control freezing time, with no need for checks or to worry that the food will not be chilled adequately because of mismanagement of ice blocks.
